Kathryn77's travel blog entry: "I had planned to divide my last day in The Netherlands half 'n' half - Scheveningen / The Hague, however the weather was so lovely I decided to stay on the beach longer - well, wouldn't you? I just had about an hour in The Hague before I had to catch the half hour train journey to Schipol airport, but I managed to walk around the city centre sites, and it was a cool city. Saw the Palace & parliament buildings - quite a few pic's of all that I saw. The funniest thing about The Hague was going to buy my train ticket to Schipol - the woman behind the desk said "Oh, you made it to Scheveningen then?" as I approached - it was the woman who I had asked directions to the tram earlier - the burned shoulders gave the game away I think!"
